Samantha Power '99 and Cass Sunstein '78 welcomed their first child, Declan Power-Sunstein, over the weekend. Power, a Pulitzer Prize winning author, Kennedy School professor, former Yugoslav War journalist and current National Security Council director of multilateral affairs, met Sunstein, a Harvard Law professor who was recently confirmed as head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (or "regulatory czar"), while they were working on the presidential campaign of Barack Obama '91. They married in Ireland last July - about nine months ago.
