About Us
The Harvard Law Record (ISSN 0017-8101) is a publication of the Harvard Law School Record Corporation, a non-profit, independent, student-owned and run corporation of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Record has been published since 1946, and its contributors have included Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader, Supreme Court justice William Rehnquist, and writers who have gone on to win Pulitzer and O. Henry Prizes.
The Record is published biweekly on Thursdays, twelve times throughout the academic year, and continuously online. It is distributed free of charge to the Harvard Law School community. Copy and photo deadlines are the Wednesday evening preceding publication.
Off-campus subscriptions are available. Subscription prices are: $50.00/year mailed, $55.00/year mailed outside the U.S. Individual copies: Free on newsstands, $2.00 mailed, $3.00 for back issues.
Harvard Law School students are encouraged to contribute to and join the staff of the Record. Contributors from within the school are paid for their contributions. Please contact us at the below email for information on applying.
